James Galanos

James Galanos opened his own business in Los Angeles in 1951 and continued to make some of the most inspiring garments for decades. Recently sought after by collectors and celebrities alike (See Ashley Olsen and Heidi Klum) not only the the timeless style and the label inside, but also for the exciting attention to detail. I have posted several garments ranging from the 1980's back to the 1950's! Enjoy!

I was rather inspired to start blogging my archive of vintage clothing and knowledge after Jean Marie started her AMAZING fashion blog, Champagne Wishing (seriously, check it out!) I'll feature some lesser known past designers and their work over the years as well as some of my favourites, which includes my first entry... Ms. Westwood!

Memorial Day: I remember...

Vivienne Westwood! Saw a bunch of her shoes and such from the 70's -90's in England at the Manchester Costume Museum, I think that's where it was. Can you even imagine getting to wear these things?
